3 TIPS TO COPE WITH STRESS WITH THE ORGANISATION OF YOUR WEDDING DAY
Updated: Apr 14, 2020
You want your perfect day to be about happiness, and you might probably already be stressing about
stress ! A little help for you to NOT turn into a Groom/Bridezilla.
1) Be Prepared

You have more than enough time to anticipate and prepare your special day.
Retro-planning your way to the wedding day is probably the key to avoid a high level of stress, since
you’ll know what to do, and when to do it.
Even better, if your budget allows it : find a wedding planner. Sometimes the amount you spend on this
specialized assistant can even be balanced with the money you’ll save thank to his/her help and
knowledge of the best service providers, according to your needs.
If you are planning on your own, be organized. Fill a binder, or notebook, to stay on track and take care
of every details that matters to you and your beloved.
2) Be Confident

Watching all those movies about weddings that turn into a mess finally got to your head... You feel
haunted by Ted Mosby and Rebecca Bunch who got left at the altar on their wedding day... ?
Please. Relax. Those are fiction !
You picked everything according to your dreams. Your outfit, your decoration, your reception venue. You
are confident in your choices.
And more important, you picked the right person to love and cherish until the end of time.
Don’t let anyone or anything ruin this for you, not even this little voice in your head called “low self-
esteem”.
You got this.
3) Be Zen

On the D-Day, you have everything ready, but it doesn’t mean “under control”. Life is life, you will have to
No big deal. Improvise and overcome.
You won’t have the power to avoid people’s behavior, or a not so nice weather.
If you didn’t go with a wedding planner, rely on your close friends, such as your best man, or
bridesmaid. People you can trust to help you with the last details, to find a way around some last minute
issue, or simply to remind you to take a deep breath and go on.
The day has come, now you can just enjoy... and say yes !
Don’t forget to have fun, and to live the moment.
